Long term readers will know that I’ve been an attitude fan since they were released back in 03, through the years there have been some vile color-ways made!, but this pair are a recent release, with decidedly more subtle colours than those previously seen.
Adidas have been re-releasing again, this time the spotlight has fallen on larger than life 80’s hi-top, the conductor hi. A couple of colourways so far, I got myself the conductor high Seoul 1988 Olympics special edition.

It’s exactly 1 year ago since I wrote about the bronx for the first time, and with a second wave of shoes released several months back (slightly different design – pictures below) they are turning into a fairly popular skate shoe. Despite my previous experiences with Osiris (specially D3s that just crack and fall apart, or dye running out of the fabric into your socks etc) the bronx is a pretty dam tough skate shoe and made out of ‘good shit’. Mine are still going after 9 months of wear, and still in one piece at least, which is rare! only a little damage on the heel giving it away.
The more recent batches of bronx have slightly different design, the OSIRIS on back (nike terminator style) of the heel and tongue is now an outline and not filled in, a new branded insole with bronx in large letters, the originals were just stock osiris insoles. The sole is also just plain one colour rubber, i guess the two-colour rubber with Osiris circle logo was cost cut (the keyring/tag is not as nice either – just a transparent tag thingy. boo.)
Osiris have also just released the south bronx, (mid cut shoe) more on that soon.
 
Jury is out. what to you guys think? place your comments!
they are banding about “limited edition” and “legendary” to describe the shoes, perhaps Darryl was, and the games he played in but these shoes? legends?
I like them a little more than the city wings, but if they are anything like the citywings were on your feet then go ****
