First saw these in the shops back in nov last year, thought they were going to be just a one off release of white/red and white/citron (lime green) but recently nike have announced a few more releases some of which I saw on a recent visit to the states. These are the oct/nov colours that were all over the place downunder:

Just seen a recent release of them in stealth grey, white and red, and I want feet in e’m soon:

Nike have also released less than 100 pairs of a not so nice looking white men can’t jump inspired white, silver and ‘yuck’ colour shoes, plus a few others, the black and purple ones I used to have a pair of way back, never thought I see them again + I guess my taste has changed, not too sure about these puppies now!

I’ve seen a few pairs of these knocking around on the street, and now the local skate shops have a few different colours in, and it’s the colours that make them, some good and some look way bad.

Globe have released a few specials, the Vulcan with faux snake leather and a Lime Green pair which according to one description “Hi-tops are hotter than orang-utan sex, and the Globe Men’s Superfly Limited Edition Shoes make the others look like a bunch of monkeys.”

I guess I’m missing something here, I don’t feel like I’m getting enough primate fornication, plus, how someone can describe a shoe called the “superfly mid” as a hi-top is beyond me…? Either way in the right colours they are a hot looking pair of kicks, and high tops I have no doubt are probably better than orang-utan sex; here’s just 4 of the colours released..

I can’t say I’ve seen much that adidas in the guise of y-3 have released that I’ve really like the look of… but these i do like, the price I don’t (US 350+). They’re and pair of ‘zipup sneaker boots’ the zip up outer boot covering the inner boot, kinda hot looking for winter 08/09, but i don’t think ill be buying me some at that price but i look forward to seeing more like this. I’m saving my cash for when adidas release those JS Logo hi-tops…
